Group Exercise Guidelines

Participants must register for class using Sign Up Genius.   This website sends me emails for new registrations, changes and cancellations so I am always up-to-date.  Knowing who and how many are registered for class allows me to prepare ahead of time for equipment and individual pain/injury.  It is impossible for me to manage classes/participants by receiving texts so please reserve texting for emergencies.  If you can, register for the week by Monday or at least 4 hours before class start time.

Automatic confirmation emails are sent to clients 48 hours prior to class.  This is a great reminder that you are registered for class (or not, if you do not receive an email).   If you cannot attend or are not feeling well, cancel your registration asap to prevent being charged for a late cancellation.  You can register before class once you know you can attend.

*24 hour cancellation notification required*.  My time is how I make a living so it’s imperative that I have an accurate schedule for other clients, office work and personal time.   You must cancel your registration with proper notice to avoid being charged for the spot that you reserved.  Your card will be punched once for late cancellations.  I understand that emergencies do happen so each person receives 1 free late cancellation. I can work with you if you have scheduling issues!

Classes with 0 registrations are cancelled 24 hours ahead of class start time.  I plan my schedule monthly then re-adjust every Sunday, according to class registrations and personal training clients.  I normally run a class, even with just 1 person, to ensure client satisfaction.

Expiration dates from date of purchase:  5 classes = 45 day expiration.  10 classes = 60 day expiration.  15 classes = 90 day expiration.

Weight/Measurements.  I can track your weight and measurements – just schedule a day/time with me!  Weigh yourself weekly, with a goal of losing 1-2 pounds each week and I suggest getting measurements done at 90 days (30 days just isn’t enough time to see great results).  You can certainly schedule measurements earlier if you prefer!

Weight Loss.  If weight loss is your goal, you must do cardio on your own! I recommend 2 classes per week and at least 3 days of cardio, progressively building up to 60 minutes.  I also suggest keeping a food journal to stay within your calorie recommendations.  Myfitnesspal.com is a great website to track exercise and nutrition.  Simply set up a profile, including weight loss goal and timeframe.
