Fun with TRX straps!
I broke out the TRX straps for crunches in today’s TABATA class. The 3 girls who came in are pretty strong so I knew it would be hard but do-able for all of us. As you can see, our feet were in the “foot cradles” while in plank then we pulled our knees in for the crunch. Lots of grunting and that 10 seconds of rest went by a bit too quickly!
I was nice enough to be the first one to try it out (sorry forgot to take a pic!) and I may have said a few curse words. It was a little shaky on hands (like Kathy below) and a bit harder on elbows (like Mary Jo above) because of the decline but elbows were a lot more stabilizing. We had “fun” trying out a new exercise and, of course, I did have a modification if it was too hard for anyone.
